Engineering & Entrepreneurship in Chicago

This spring, all City Scholars are enrolled in a course focused on the intersection of engineering and entrepreunership taught by Jed Taylor and Andy Singer. The course, which has been taught for many years in Urbana-Champaign, features lectures from engineering leaders and established entrepreneurs. An added feature of the course’s Chicago section is increased accessibility to locations and speakers of interest. So far this semester, students have heard from leaders at Ocient, Cleverbridge, Xaptum and TechNexus. The course will feature a new organization each week.
